The Script, Edition 5 - May 2012

The temprature is soaring in May!! And what better way to beat the heat by watching some cool plays in the theatre!!

This year both the NCPA and Prithvi present a summer extravaganza  of Workshops and Plays for Children. Along with the return of last years favourites - Motley's 'By George', Aranya's 'Laal Pencil' and Gillo's 'Kyu Kyu Ladki', comes a host of brand new plays. Some of them are:
Rangbaaz brings the legendry tale 'The Jungle Book' to stage, Le Chayim presents a play about a magical cat and making friends with 'In The Cat House', Working Titles presents 'Kachra Tales' and Ansh shows us time travel with 'Time Boy'. FUN!! FUN!! FUN!!!!

We at QTP have a hectic May. Dramabaazi returns!! The workshop has already begun and will lead to a performance at the Prithvi in June. We also have shows of our latest comedy,
Nostalgia Brand Chewing Gum on the 12th of May at St. Andrews Auditorium in Bandra. Also, Great Texts Reading will be on the 28th of May.
Our last months quiz question was: Why was William Shakespeare forced to leave Stratford-upon-avon?
