Yatri announces it’s Production Oriented Theatre Workshop `On Acting` to be conducted by Om Katare.

Theatre Professionals Acting Workshop Program:
Improvisational Theatre Basics by Adam Dow - (Professional improviser and teacher with Unexpected Productions of Seattle Washington, USA) will cover the core fundamentals of improvisational technique such as listening, teamwork, character development, spontaneity, status and storytelling. Through a variety of games, scenes and monologues each person will work towards becoming a performance ready improviser, with the ability to use their new found skills on stage, screen and story development.
Time: 6 -10 pm
Ensemble Theatre Practice by Daniel Goldman - (Tangram Theatre Company, Ecole Jacques Lecoq) will introduce participants to the joys of performing as an ensemble. Daniel will introduce participants to a whole multitude of games, exercises and provocations to encourage them to play on and off stage. From these, we will begin to tell stories and the workshop will end with the creation of a piece of ensemble theatre whereby the piece will be created and performed by the group as a whole.
