Dear Theatrewallah's,
July has begun with some startling news for the theatre world. Zohra Sehgal, the grand dame of the Indian stage passed away on 10th July 2014. She was a 102. She lived a full live, on her own terms, and thrilling people across the country and world with her brilliant performances. She will be deeply missed. We at QTP have a special place for her in our heart, as her recitation of "Abhi To Main Jawan Hoon" at her Thespo Lifetime Achievement Award Presentation will always ring in our year. Aapa, we hope we can be worthy of the torch that you carried tirelessly for so many years.
