The Script, February 2015 - Edition 2

Hello Theatre Folks,


February has quickly become the biggest Theatre month of the year. It all kicks off what the Kala ghoda arts festival that runs from the 7-15 of Feb. There is also the Begum Qudsia Zaidi Centenary Celebrations at the NCPA  from 17-19 February.

Apart from festival plays, there's lots of other theatre to look forward to - Jyoti Dogra presents 'Notes on Chai', Akvarious' 'Faith Healer' and Trishla Patel's 'Six Characters in Search of an Author'. This month see's the kickoff of the Aadyam series of plays at the Jamshed Bhabha Theatre with Masque's 'The Merchant of Venice'. Also a must see is Theatre Professional's presentation of 'The Dragon'. Lots of good theatre....book tickets now!!!!

On the QTP front, we have Thespo at Prithvi with a workshop by Puja Sarup and Now's 'Normal'. We are also at the Kala Ghoda Fest!! Q will be directing a reading of Duncan Macmillan's 'Lungs' on Saturday, 7th February at 5.30pm at Artists' Centre. Entry is Free!! Q will also be doing a talk at DZMA, Symbiosis Viman Nagar Campus on the 13th at 10am on 'The Role of Media in Propagation of Theatre'. Also Great Text is on the 22nd of February. We hope to see you there!!!
