The Script - Edition 4, April 2014

Hello Theatrefolk!

April is the time every theatre person starts to get younger. No, we’re not endorsing a new age reversal cream, its Children’s Theatre time!!! And it kick starts with ‘Beauty and the Beast’ at the Canvas Laugh Factory. Prithvi Theatre then become Kids Central with ER2’s ‘Alladin and the Magic Lamp’, Jhoom Theatre’s ‘Shipwrecked!’,  Dhanendra Kawade’s ‘Rang Rangila Gittu Girgit’, Arambh’s ‘Tunni Ki Kahani’ and the World Circus Day Celebrations!!! Phew!

Adults, don’t feel left out. Theres lots of plays for you too. Lillette Dubey does 3 different shows in 1 day – a Cineplay Screening of ‘Adhe Adhure’, ‘August – Osage County’ and ‘9 Parts of Desire’!! Wow!!  There are some debut plays – Jhoom’s ‘Re-Lay’ and Lillette Dubey’s (again) ‘Boiled Beans on Toast’. Also some big hits return – ‘The Interview’, ‘Bali Aur Shambu’ and ‘White Lily Aani Night Rider’. I’d suggest cancel your holiday plans. With so much theatre, why be somewhere else??
