Happy happy New Year. Here's wishing you a 'theatrical and dramatic' 2014.
The theatre community seems to have returned refreshed from the New Year break. There is tonnes happening in January. Yatri celebrates turning 35 with a run of shows at the Prithvi. Primetime's '9 Parts of Desire' comes to the suburbs for the first time, and the ever prolific Akvarious returns for a run of their repertory at the Prithvi. And how can we forget the second run of Ace's magnum opus 'Grease' which returns to the NCPA. On a Thespo note, it is heartening to see plays from recent editions '786' and 'Being Sarthak Majumdar' run independently.
Speaking of Thespo, Thespo 15 would down and it turned out to be the biggest one yet!!! And in case you missed it, Thespo at Prithvi features AmeyGo's award winning play on Einstein 'The E.Q'.
