The Script, Edition 8 - August 2012

Its August - which means its time for a whole host of festivals!! On the social calender, theres Independence Day, Janmashtami and Raksha Bandhan. On the theatre calender it kicks off with NCPA plays host to the 'Marathi Natya Utsav' from the 3rd to 7th and the Short+Sweet Festival from the 25th. Also our very own festival, Thespo 14 has also kicked off with various activities across various cities and building towards the main festival in December.

Also this month see's the debut of many new productions. Subrajyoti Barat presents 'The Price', Ashwin Gidwani presents 'Two to Tango, Three to Jive', Yatri presents 'Yeh Jo Dil Hai Na', Thespo Lifetime Achievement Award Winner, Sam Kerawalla directs 'Faramji Ni Film Utri' and Ank presents 'Ravindranjali'. 

On the QTP Front, Orientation Meeting for Thespo 14 have been completed in 3 cities and we have 4 more to go!!! Also, the last date for registering your full length play is September 1st 2011. So rush your registerations now!!!. Thespo at Prithvi ..... Our monthly Great Text reading is on the 27th of the month!!
Our last month quiz question was:

Unfortunately nobody attempted the quiz. Come on guys!!!!!!!
