The Script, Edition 6 - June 2012

Rain is in the air. While the respite from the heat is much wanted, the theatre scene seems to never dampen.

This month see`s the the continuation of Junoon`s 'Arts at Play' at Prithvi and a return of some of the popular Writers Bloc 3 plays - 'Mahua', 'Jaal', 'Sattelite City', 'Djinns of Eidgah' and 'Ok, Tata, Bye Bye'.

We at QTP have a hectic month ahead. Dramabaazi returns and goes Beyond!! After a month long workshop process, we are ready to present this years play - 'Beyond the Land of Hattamala'. The show will be at Prithvi on the 5th and 6th of June. Hope to see you there!!! Also auditions for our new play Kora is underway. Mail us if your interested. Also, Great Texts Reading will be on the 25th of June.
Our last months quiz question was: Of the musicals currently appearing on Broadway, it’s the only one to have been awarded the prestigious Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
Only 40% got it right. The Correct answer was: How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
