Timeless Tagore:
A tribute through dance, music and theatre in celebration of the 150th year of Rabindranath Tagore.

28th March to 1st April at the NCPA.

Five days of music, dance, and drama at the NCPA gives Mumbai audiences a chance to look into the many fascinating elements of the works of Rabindranath Tagore–the rhythms, tunes, poetry, stories and philosophy that resonate 150 years after the birth of India’s Nobel Prize-winning poet, the author of India’s national anthem, and an eternal artistic inspiration. The festival focuses on the contemporary relevance of Tagore by presenting a variety of his works from the traditional and innovative interpretations by artistes from all over India. The programme is carefully curated to reflect the works of Tagore for the afficianado as well as a generation that needs to rediscover him.
