Clown Theatre with Carla Guida Johnson
The clown is a state where urgency prevails, living in the moment, in the here and now. Through the clown, the actor explores the world from a more positive viewpoint, free from moral and logical constraints.
Argentinian actress Carla Guida Johnson has been studying and researching Clown theatre for the last five years. Most recently, Carla has been engaged in working with a group of clown actors, investigating the possibilities of clown theatre within music and rhythm.

Beyond Bombay’s Boundaries
Children’s theatre workshop
Children between 6-12 years of age are eligible for participation.
This exciting and educational workshop seeks to acquaint children with different cultures around India and the rest of the world, both ancient and modern. It includes breathtaking video and photo presentations that show off the wonders of natural and man-made world, different dance forms, cuisines and attires from around the world, and various kinds of world music!
Shivani Tibrewala, writer-director-producer, heads the theatre group No License Yet and will conduct this workshop.
