A comedy of ideas that tracks the eras, the words and the lives of two professors who experience a lifetime together without expressing their real emotions.

NCPA Experimental – 7pm: BADE MIYAN DEEWANE
Based on Janab Shaukat Thanvi Sahab’s novel Budhbhas, the play is about a rich, eccentric octogenarian who is swept off his feet by a young girl.


Prithvi Theatre – 6 & 9pm: POHA GONE WRONG
A story of three childhood friends - two sisters and a Brahmin boy who is trapped in the epic times of the Mahabharata.

The play brings together Dak Ghar, the magical-philosophical play by Rabindranath Tagore, and the deeply inspiring true story of a Polish doctor and storyteller, to replace the harsh reality of illness, hatred, and certain death with imagination, hope and a childlike desire to walk to the Sun.

Katya lives with her dysfunctional mother, Georgina. Her father, unable to put up with his wife's depression, elopes with Georgina's younger sister, leaving a six-year-old Katya to cope with Georgina’s emotional instability.

Prithvi Theatre – 6pm: EK BAAR PHIR
A woman is sold…A deal is made…A buffalo is sold and a woman is bought.

Prithvi Theatre – 9:30pm: SHATRANJ KE MOHRE
The play tells us of the values dear to both, Kakaji and Acharyaji, and how in the stream of their thoughts other characters get thrown in, are tossed about and finally resolve their own struggles either through self-realisation or by the reactions of others.
