LAMDA

This April, for the first time in its history, the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) will be hosting auditions in India for 2010 entry to the Academy.

Taking place in New Delhi and Mumbai, these auditions/interviews will provide the perfect opportunity for students interested in training as actors, stage managers or theatre technicians to meet LAMDA’s Vice-Principal and discover more about the exceptional range of vocational courses available at the Academy.

The training at LAMDA is vocational and no academic qualifications are required for entry. The Academy welcomes applications from all sections of the community, regardless of nationality, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality or disability. Its only prerequisite is that students must be at least 18 years old at the beginning of their course.

In April, LAMDA will be auditioning for places on its Three Year Acting Course, Two Year Acting Course, Two Year Stage Management & Technical Theatre Course, One Year Classical Acting Course, Single Semester Classical Acting Course and Eight Week Shakespeare & His Contemporaries Course.

For more information about any of these courses or to register for an audition, prospective students are advised to visit LAMDA’s website at www.lamda.org.uk or to email admissions@lamda.org.uk
